Order cancellation requests must be made as soon as possible. If the order has already been processed, packed or shipped, cancellation may not be possible. Approved cancellations may be subject to our store policy and any applicable processing costs.

Shipping & Delivery

Delivery time depends on your location and courier network conditions. Most New Zealand orders are dispatched by tracked courier after payment has cleared and the order has been processed. Auckland deliveries are usually faster, while rural, island and remote addresses may take longer.

We aim to dispatch eligible orders on the same business day when payment is cleared and verified before 1:00PM, Monday to Friday. Same-day dispatch is not guaranteed and may depend on order volume, product availability, payment verification and courier pickup times.

Yes. Rural delivery addresses usually take longer than standard metro deliveries. Please allow extra time for rural, island or remote locations, especially during busy courier periods, public holidays or severe weather disruptions.

Yes. Once your order has been dispatched, tracking details are sent to the email address used at checkout. Courier tracking may take some time to update after the parcel has been collected.

Some deliveries may allow authority to leave or non-signature delivery. If a parcel is delivered without signature at the customer's request or according to courier instructions, the customer accepts the risk once the courier marks the parcel as delivered. We recommend signature delivery where possible for higher-value orders.

Delivery to PO Boxes depends on the courier service and product type. Some orders may not be suitable for PO Box delivery, especially larger items or restricted products. Please use a physical delivery address where possible to avoid delays.

Most perfumes can be shipped within New Zealand, but they may be handled under courier rules for fragrance or dangerous goods items. Delivery options can depend on the courier, location, product size and shipping restrictions.

Store Pickup

Yes. Store pickup may be available from our Mount Eden, Auckland store for eligible orders. Please wait for confirmation that your order is ready before visiting the store, as some orders may require payment verification, stock checking or processing time.

Pickup orders can be collected from Gadgets Online NZ, 591 Dominion Road, Mount Eden, Auckland 1041, New Zealand, during our store opening hours.

Please bring your order confirmation and a valid photo ID when collecting your order. For security reasons, we may also ask to verify the payment method or customer details before releasing an order.

Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

We do not offer refunds, returns or exchanges for change of mind purchases. Please choose carefully before placing your order, especially for perfumes, cosmetics, personal care products, sunglasses and electronic items.

If your item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number, photos or video evidence and a clear explanation of the issue. Valid issues will be assessed under our store policy and applicable New Zealand consumer law.

Product issues should be reported within 24 hours of delivery. This helps us review the issue quickly and fairly, especially for damage, leakage, missing items, incorrect products or delivery-related concerns.

Shipping fees are generally non-refundable unless required by law or agreed by Gadgets Online NZ for a valid issue. Refunds, when approved, are normally processed back to the original payment method.

Opened perfumes, cosmetics and personal care items cannot usually be returned or exchanged for hygiene, safety and product integrity reasons, unless the item is confirmed to be faulty, incorrect or otherwise covered under applicable consumer law.

PRODUCT AUTHENTICITY & PARALLEL IMPORTS

Yes. Gadgets Online NZ sells authentic products sourced through trusted local and international supply channels. We do not sell counterfeit products. Some items may be parallel imported, which means they are genuine products sourced from legitimate overseas supply channels rather than the official New Zealand distributor.

Parallel imported means a genuine branded product has been sourced from an overseas supply channel instead of the official New Zealand distributor. The product is still genuine, but packaging, batch details, included accessories, warranty process or regional labelling may vary depending on the market it was originally supplied for.

Packaging, labels, barcode stickers, ingredient lists, batch details or included accessories can vary between countries, production batches and supplier regions. These differences do not automatically mean a product is not genuine.

Perfume colour, scent strength and performance can vary slightly due to batch differences, reformulation, storage conditions, ingredient variation, age of stock and how the fragrance reacts with individual skin chemistry. Lighting and screen settings can also make perfume colour look different in photos.

Online batch code checker websites can be useful as a general guide, but they are not official brand verification tools and may not include every batch, region or production update. A missing or unrecognised batch code does not automatically mean a product is fake.

Our prices may differ from department stores because we source products through a mix of local, international and parallel import supply channels. This can allow competitive pricing while still offering genuine products to New Zealand customers.

Product images are provided to help customers identify the item, but packaging, shade, bottle colour, accessories or box details may vary slightly due to brand updates, batch changes, lighting, screen settings or regional packaging differences.

Yes. Gadgets Online NZ sells authentic perfumes sourced through trusted local and international supply channels. Some fragrances may be parallel imported, which means they are genuine products sourced from legitimate overseas suppliers rather than the official New Zealand distributor.

Perfumes & Fragrances

EDT, EDP, Parfum and Extrait refer to different fragrance concentration levels. EDT is usually lighter, EDP is generally stronger and longer-lasting, Parfum is more concentrated, and Extrait is usually the richest concentration. Actual performance can still vary by fragrance, skin type and weather.

Perfume longevity varies depending on the fragrance concentration, ingredients, batch, skin type, weather and how much is applied. Some fragrances are designed to be light and fresh, while others are deeper and longer-lasting.

Perfume can smell different from person to person because fragrance reacts with individual skin chemistry, body temperature, diet, weather and application method. This is normal and does not mean the perfume is faulty.

Store perfumes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, humidity and rapid temperature changes. Avoid keeping perfumes in bathrooms, cars or windowsills, as heat and light can affect scent, colour and performance over time.

Yes. Perfume brands may update packaging, bottle details, caps, labels, boxes, batch codes or ingredient lists over time. Regional packaging differences can also occur with genuine products, especially for parallel imported fragrances.

Please contact us within 24 Hours of delivery with your order number, clear photos or a short video showing the issue. We will review the problem and advise the next step according to our store policy and applicable consumer law.

Opened or sprayed perfumes cannot usually be returned or exchanged for change of mind, scent preference or personal taste reasons. Returns may only be considered if the product is confirmed to be faulty, incorrect or otherwise covered under applicable consumer law.

Sunglasses

Yes. Gadgets Online NZ sells authentic designer sunglasses sourced through trusted supply channels. Some sunglasses may be parallel imported, which means they are genuine products sourced from legitimate overseas suppliers rather than the official New Zealand distributor.

Most designer sunglasses include the original case and standard accessories supplied by the brand or distributor. Packaging and included accessories can vary by brand, model, region, supplier and batch.

Yes. Customers can visit our Mount Eden, Auckland store to view and try selected sunglasses before purchasing, subject to in-store stock availability. Online stock and store display availability may vary, so you are welcome to contact us before visiting.

Frame colour, lens colour and tint may look slightly different in photos due to lighting, camera settings, screen brightness, monitor settings and reflections. Product images are provided as a guide, but slight visual differences can occur.

Lens scratches, accidental damage, normal wear and tear, misuse, loss, theft or damage caused by improper care are generally not covered by warranty. Please store sunglasses in their case when not in use and clean them with suitable lens-safe materials.

Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number, clear photos of the sunglasses, packaging and courier label. We will review the issue and advise the next step according to our store policy and applicable consumer law.

Tech Products & Warranty

Yes. Gadgets Online NZ sells genuine tech products sourced through trusted local and international supply channels. Some items may be parallel imported, so packaging, accessories, manuals or warranty process may vary depending on the product and supply region.

Yes All tech products come with New Zealand plugs.

Warranty coverage depends on the product, brand, supplier and whether the item is locally sourced or parallel imported. If a product develops a fault, please contact us with your order number and issue details so we can assess the matter under our store policy and applicable New Zealand consumer law.

Warranty generally does not cover accidental damage, misuse, liquid damage, physical damage, unauthorised repairs, normal wear and tear, lost accessories, cosmetic damage or issues caused by incorrect use, power supply problems or failure to follow product instructions.
