It's a great idea and I had used a similar one, but this one, the clear tab ripped instead of pulling off cleanly, resulting in a poor application. I have yet to attempt it again with the second screen protector but even if that one works, it's a false economy when one fails outright. I would fall back to the brand I used previously that applied and worked flawlessly. More expensive but a better result
